
DOLAKHA ,Nepal has reported 14 new COVID-19 cases on Friday taking the total cases to 30.
The Ministry of Health and Population in a Facebook post confirmed that 12 cases were reported in Udayapur and two in Chitwan today.
12 men in hide in a mosque located at Triyuga Municipality 3, Bhulke, in Udayapur are found coronavirus positive.
When their swab collected with the help of security forces and medics was tested in Koshi Provincial Hospital, the people hiding in the mosque were found COVID-19 positive.
After getting the news about some people are taking secret shelter in a mosque, a team of health workers and security forces was sent to the Bhulke based mosque on Tuesday to collect their swab.
Likewise, a 27-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman have tested positive in Chitwan. It is reported that they had returned from London.
Earlier, the PCR test conducted at Biratnagar based Koshi Hospital had also come with corona positive result.
Similarly, the coronavirus positive result found in a test conducted in Chitwan based PCR lab was also sent to central lab in Kathmandu.
After finding the swab test results of both all suspected of COVID-19 infection 12 of Udayapur and 2 of Chitwan came same in the tests in the central lab, the Ministry of Health and Population formally declared the total cases as 30.
